Haydenville's main industry was brick and tile production. The clay used was mined locally. The church in Haydenville was used to display each style of brick that was produced at the plant. The houses and walkways in the town were also built form the brick. Even the cemetery uses tile from the plant. As times changed, NATCO began producing conduits for electrical wires. As the industry changed, so did the company and the town. |
