| George
Coles: Regional manager of Video Products Group,
George supplies advanced telecommunication gear to local TV
stations, broadcast networks, telephone companies and satellite
operators. George was founder/owner/CEO of Com III in Columbus,
hosting post-production facilities, sound stages and a satellite
teleport. He is a parent of OU students. At an earlier time,
he was on the Professional Advisory Committee of the College
of Communication. |

| Teresa
Franklin: Associate Professor, Educational Studies,
Ohio University College of Education, Teresa is Coordinator
of the Instructional Technology Program and advisor to numerous
Masters and Ph.D. students. As an active researcher and grants
writer, Teresa and her students work to implement innovative
approaches to classroom teaching, linkages to schools and
distance teaching. |

| Steve
Howard: A Telecommunications Professor, Steve is
also Director of the Ohio University African Studies Program,
a US government funded National Resource Center on Africa
and academic program in the Center for International Studies.
Steve supervises University linkages in South Africa, Swaziland,
Nigeria and Ghana and is the founder of an Institute for the
African Child that has received International acclaim. Steve
is a fount of ideas with the ability to make a difference
in international development. |

| Ann
Kovalchick: An adjunct Assistant Professor of TCOM,
Ann is the founding Director of Ohio University's Center for
Innovations in Technology and Learning (CITL). She is a specialist
in instructional design, multimedia authoring, digital imaging,
evaluation, online learning and teaching, electronic collaboration
and learning communities. Ann is responsible for a lot of
changes for the good in the ways teachers teach on the OU
campus. |

| Carol
Kuhre: Founder/Executive Director (1990-2003), Rural
Action Inc., a grassroots self-help agency focused on renewing
the economies, environment and communities in the Appalachian
counties of Ohio. Because of her ability to articulate vision,
attract funding and involve all levels of community, Carol
is widely perceived to be one of the most creative leaders
doing rural development in the Appalachian region. |

| Alvin
Snyder: Founding Director of WorldNet, the video
Voice of America. A former CBS News executive, Al has won
11 Emmy and 5 Associated Press awards. He has been an Annenberg
Senior Fellow and the author of a widely acclaimed book WARRIORS
OF DISINFORMATION: AMERICAN PROPAGANDA, SOVIET LIES AND THE
COLD WAR. Al has his own company Snyder News in the National
press building, Washington D.C. |
